"I hope that this place stays as spectacular as it is. The zenses is an exceptional find. I plan to stay there over and over again. While I build my home in Belize. I’ve told all my clients and friends about this place. The staff, including restaurant/bar staff were incredible and knowledgeable. I plan to stay at the zenses every time. It’s very clean. Super affordable. Accessible and comfortable. Love that place."

"Really clean rooms. Really well maintained property. The room was pre-cooled. Bathrooms were really clean and spacious. The roof top had the best view of the island and the water. 2 min walking distance from water taxi terminal. 10 min walking to the split. Really glad I picked this hotel."

"Perfect location stone throw away from the plit and sip & dip. Clean rooms, comfy beds, big bathroom and plenty closet space. Ed and Moses where very helpful and gracious best of all no smell from the seaweed property located at north end of island. I would 100% stay there again and look forward to coming back"

They are very attentive to your needs, transport you to local eateries, and help you with anything you need. I have been staying with these properties on the south side and north side. You will not be disappointed."

"A very nice and comfortable place to stay with friendly and helpful staff. The beach directly outside the property is lovely, although you can’t really swim there due to the seaweed. However, the property is only an 8–10 minute walk from the Split, making it easy to access other areas and enjoy the surroundings."

Birdhouses Hummingbird is a very unique place in the sunset side of the island.

"The Birdhouses are cute, clean, and private. The property is nicely tucked away from the busy areas of Caye Caulker, but easily accessible and on the water. The Humingbird is exactly what we needed for our vacation - simple, clean,l and a great bathroom. The bed is very soft. The AC keeps you cool to sleep. And Lucrecia & Luis are so very kind and helpful!"

"The staff were all very kind and super friendly! And it's nice how everyone seems to know each other because you'll quickly learn that this is a small very welcoming community here. Room was always well cleaned when I got back from my adventures and I really appreciated the free water and coffee in the office. The super cool AC made sleep a comfort! It's proximity to everything you need is also a major bonus to consider. In response to negative reviews saying this place is old, rusty and unclean: those are from Karens who don't understand you're on an Island in the middle of the ocean where everything isn't as developed as a city stay. Keep that in mind! You'll only have a bad time if you're fussy and not appreciative of enjoying the moment you're in and seriously the TV comment!? You didn't travel all this way to watch TV in your hotel room, sheesh."
