⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Absolutely Amazing Stay at Excellence El Carmen! I just checked out of Excellence El Carmen, and I can honestly say that my experience was absolutely wonderful from beginning to end. Everything was excellent — the food, the cleanliness, the beautiful facilities, the room, and most importantly, the incredible service from the staff. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, and the food was excellent with so many great options. Every person we interacted with was kind, welcoming, and genuinely committed to making our stay special. I especially want to recognize three amazing team members who went above and beyond: ❤️ Alvin, at the Sports Bar, who was incredibly friendly and attentive. ❤️ Luis Enríquez, who takes care of the room bars, was always so helpful and made sure everything was taken care of. ❤️ Delvin, our waiter, provided wonderful service and always treated us with kindness and a smile. People like them truly make a vacation memorable. They made us feel welcomed, appreciated, and well taken care of throughout our entire stay. Excellence El Carmen truly lived up to its name. 10/10 experience! I absolutely loved this resort and would happily come back again. Thank you to the entire Excellence El Carmen team for an unforgettable stay! ❤️🌴🥂

Unfortunately, our stay at Barceló Bávaro Palace was extremely disappointing. Upon arrival, our bathtub was dirty, the room smelled musty, and the refrigerator did not work. The front desk moved us to another room, which was slightly better but still not what we expected from a resort of this caliber. The food was one of our biggest disappointments. It was bland, lightly seasoned, and lacked the authentic Dominican flavors we hoped to experience. Even worse, my boyfriend and I suffered from stomach pain and diarrhea throughout our stay and continued experiencing symptoms after returning home. Our airport driver even mentioned hearing similar complaints from other guests. We were also unable to enjoy the beach because of the overwhelming amount of seaweed. While we understand the resort cannot control nature, there appeared to be no contingency plan or sufficient effort to manage or clean the beach. Lastly, my boyfriend nearly fell in a dirty, wet restroom. He alerted a staff member, who seemed unconcerned, and the issue was not addressed. Between the room conditions, poor food, illness, unusable beach, and lack of attention to safety, this was not the Punta Cana experience we expected. Sadly, we would not return or recommend this resort.

Keep coming back to this place for the absolute best experience. The beach is amazing, the staff is very welcoming and the experience as a whole is always fantastic.

Everything was excellent this was our 3rd trip to Paradisus. The staff are super friendly and helpful, the food was excellent and the entertainment was great . I highly recommend it
