Tregenna castle is excellent in almost every way, with some odd misses. The location is beautiful and walkable to town; the building and grounds are very well maintained; the staff is friendly and professional.
The odd misses: breakfast.... The coffee is undrinkable and the espresso bar opens at 10 (?!?!), the bread and sausages are really terrible, there is no variation at all day to day (note that much of the rest of breakfast was ok or good); the self catering cottage we stayed in had a microwave and oven in the "kitchennette" but no cooktop (?!).
Would still heartily recommend.
