"The view from the lounge was fantastic! I enjoyed watching the cruise ships docking. The property is close to the JR train station as well as being adjacent to the morning market. Loved having a washer in the room which was very convenient for my 6 day stay. It would have been more comfortable if they could clean the room and change the bed sheets at least once every three days which is standard practice instead of once every seven days which is too long."

"As with other OMO hotels this place is very nice. Conveniently located to the JR station and some great restaurants. The bed was very comfortable and the room is well laid out and spacious. The onsen and 2F common space is lovely! Unfortunately, contrary to most other hotels in Japan, OMO does not provide any coffee for the room. It is a small issue but an inconvenience to go out and buy coffee."

"Free soft serve ice cream and wonderful breakfast buffet with rice and fresh fish. Rooms were very spacious for Japan and comfortable. Staff very helpful and nice lounge area to relax in. A little far away from the train station but can get there with a 20 minute bus ride."

"We all stayed in Japanese/western rooms with private onsens. The rooms were old but well maintained. I have to give a low score as the hotel allows smoking and the smell of smoke was overwhelming. We had to open all of the windows and allow airflow during our entire stay. Thankfully we came in the summer so we could open the windows and there was a nice and steady breeze. They gave us a spray to spray on the tatami mats and carpet but the smell of smoke was embedded into the walls and filters (which needed to be cleaned). I would not recommend this hotel to anyone with allergies or sensitivity to smoke as I struggled with my allergies during my entire stay. The hotel staff are extremely kind and helpful and their souvenir shop is fully stocked of local snacks to do last minute shopping. There kaiseki breakfast and dinners were amazing and we always left stuffed to the brim. The in room onsens were the best part of the hotel. Each over looking the ocean, allowing you to soak in the onsen, listen to the ocean and see the sky all while in the privacy of your own room. It made every issue we had a little more acceptable."
