The breakfast buffet was amazing and the variety allows you to do a full our Japanese food in one place! The hotel is beautiful on the inside and the rooms are definitely in the upper echelon of size that can be found in Hakodate! One more plus...wait for it....THEY HAVE A FITNESS CENTER! This is probably the only hotel in Hakodate that actually took the time to accommodate the fitness minded tourists! I travel to Hakodate probably 2 times a year and this will be my hotel that I stay at for all of my future stays. This hotel is amazing!

Really enjoyed the Onsen at this hotel, as well as the breakfast and the hotel restaurant for dinner. I would definitely stay here again. The view from the room was quite nice too, we faced the water from a high floor.

Yah, the glowing online reviews are pretty accurate. The breakfast at this place surpasses the ones in Vegas easily. Ample seafood including ikura, sake, champagne.. it was bonkers. We also thoroughly enjoyed the Onsen, especially the outdoor Bossanova lounge. Was surreal to see steam rising from the bathes while you gazed at the stars above in the night sky. Probably the only con is that the buffet was so awesome there really wasn’t a point to eat at the stellar Hakodate morning market, which is a very first world problem! I’ve already heartily recommended this place to my friends and family.

It’s not worth the money for people like us who don’t feel comfortable sharing public bath with others. If someone loves Onsen this is good. Although breakfast buffet was amazing, they even served Sake and other alcoholic drinks for breakfast!!!

Lovely hotel. Absolutely amazing breakfast (but very popular…. First hotel where there is a queue to get in at 6 am). A heads up would have been nice if we were told to bring our towels from our room to the onsen. Probably got lost in translation. But excellent hotel.
