Good central location no onsite parking but a few mins walk away at reasonable prices

This place is absolutely amazing it is all you need for somewhere to stay, I have stayed here twice now and have had a perfect chill getaway each time.

This hotel is a gem!!! It is immaculate, the rooms are exactly what you would hope for and the price was amazing. I have paid a lot more for hotels which weren't as well maintained as this one is. The staff were great and had no problem with me bringing my assistance dog in and out. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was excellent. It was in the golf club house just across the car par, which I guess could be an issue if it was raining, but I looked on it as a bonus; it helped me...

Excellent place to stay for 1-3 nights. Clean plenty of room and having a small kitchen area was great. Unfortunately the pub next door was shut on a Tuesday so need to revisit on a working day to samples the food.

A fine room with a decent tv , kettle, tea coffee (and quite posh biscuits), newly installed secondary glazing (very effective against traffic noise) a window that opened nicely for ventilation (I have stayed in expensive joints where suffocating the guests seemed to be part of the deal), blackout curtains, plenty of very hot water at all hours and good water pressure in the shower. Plus a pretty garden/smoking area, free and good wifi connection and a landlady who seemed genuinely pleased to...

Great Stay Lovely Inn that serves excellent food

This hotel is full of character. The floors have original timber floorboards and even have an authentic’creak’ when you walk over them. If you like ‘olde worlde’ places you’ll like staying at the Mansion House. The staff were extremely friendly and polite which really made my stay enjoyable. I stayed over Christmas so there was only a skeleton staff but I had everything I needed and was always warm and comfortable.

Friendly hosts, good choice menu for evening meal enjoyed with a few pints of draught beer, comfortable room and bed, followed by a full English breakfast well cooked. What more can you ask for

Very clean with welcoming staff. Breakfast had an excellent choice and cooked meal was outstanding. We also had an evening. Meal with friends and this was also excellent with a good choice of food. Our room had everything one could need.
