We have read with interest, what one might consider complaints after the fact. We take issue with the claim that “the place was tired and lacked the basics; untensils, cookware, dishes, only 3 chairs at the only table." Since the Strachans were not happy with the offerings, we immediately went out and purchased replacements for those items that were deemed to be lacking. This 1-bedroom apartment, for a couple and visiting friends, had no shortage of chairs. In addition to the three dining chairs, there were two occasional chairs, a 3-seater sofa and an arm chair. With a view from the upper deck, along with its location, the apartment has very popular appeal to our international guests. We regret that the Strachans, who seemed very particular, were the exceptions. The couple who followed immediately after them this year were in the same apartment last winter 2022 and have already re-booked it for 2024, usually staying about a month at a time. In fact, in 2023 they occupied it from 10-30 January (when it was available) and again ongoing from 5 March to 4 April. Can the accommodation really be as bad as has been claimed? We want to place it on record that we responded positively to issues raised by Mr. and Mrs. Strachan in an effort to make them as comfortable as possible, which is what we do for all of our guests. Our proximity to Mojos Bar, which at times has live music, is a reality. The music usually ends before midnight, but to some it is considered a nuisance. Others find Mojos an attraction which they readily accept and patronize. As hosts, we invite all prospective guests to read the reviews and independently come to their own conclusions about our character as management and the pros and cons of our accommodation.

Brian and Angela were lovely guests, easy to get along with and definitely focused on making the most of their holiday with us. We were delighted to have them and eagerly look forward to their next visit. Thanks Brian and Angela for taking good care of our property.
