Local bus stops right outside, local train service 5 minutes walk. Good beachcafe just outside, Comfortable lounge and relaxing area. Plenty local info on the Lake District. i would return. "We had an amazing time. The hotel is lovely, every piece of decor & furniture is luxurious. The staff are all very pleasant and helpful. We were booked in for B&B and breakfast was wonderful. When we arrived Liam checked us in & explained the town was experiencing power cuts & lifts weren’t working. As I have mobility issues they couldn’t give us our intended room instead we were given Room 2 Olive Mews and I can only describe it as heavenly, with it’s own spa. I booked a massage and it was great too. We are home now after being pampered & spoiled. I think we have found our new No.1 favourite hotel. Thank you"
