Wooden framed sash windows could benefit from a freshen up with some paint but other than that a perfect stay & amazing value for money. Breakfast in the morning was very well presented & really flavoursome. Good choice of both Continental & full English. We also found Newbury to be a delightful historic town with plenty to offer. Would definitely stay with the Chequers hotel again!"
