"A very large and spacious house with wood burners. Perfect for meeting up with friends and felt very relaxed and settled straight away. A bottle of wine from the host was most welcome. The village has 2 pubs which serve good food and made us feel most welcome. We will certainly use this place again."

"We stayed in Room 2, a beautifully decorated and finely furnished suite at the rear of the property on the first floor. All of the provided amenities functioned flawlessly and made for a very pleasant relaxing weekend break exploring Marlborough. Very simple and straight forward check in details were provided prior to arrival, and further comms were all answered incredibly promptly by the host. We would happily return here in an heartbeat. Highly recommended."

"The Pelican is a good, comfortable Inn. We stayed for three nights in September. The rooms were very clean and in good condition and there were no problems with me bringing the dog who was also welcome in the bar area. The food was good pub fare, the steaks look wonderful, and we ate here very night. A cooked breakfast was not on offer but cereals, tea, coffee and porridge were provided. The staff were very helpful and pleasant at all times. I would certainly stay again."

"Great stay but only fly in the ointment was I couldn't get breakfast before 0800hrs. As it was a business trip this was an inconvenience. I'll probably be in the area again at some point but shan't book because of this. Shame. "
