Four poster bed, creaking floor boards, higgledy-piggledy corridors, tranquil setting, great food, whats not to like. I spend around 40 nights away each year with work and it was so nice to be somewhere with character in the bucket loads and really good home made food, I loved it. WiFi was non existent in my room but good in the lounge, I was able to finish my book instead of working. Superb hosts to boot.

Really helpful staff, comfortable room and bed and easy to park. (I didn't have the breakfast). Would recommend.

Lovely hotel! Beautiful interior and comfy beds. Unfortunately the bar and restaurant were shut so that was only disappointing part. Other then that was lovely

Warm, accommodating and helpful staff. Classy but still family friendly. Clean, stylish rooms and fabulous food in both restaurants. Close enough to Bridlington for the hustle n bustle but far enough from centre of town to be a peaceful retreat. After 4 visits, still my first choice of hotel when visiting Bridlington.

My wife and myself stayed at the Miricia for the weekend and it was fantastic! The hotel was lovely and Joanne was friendly and welcoming. The room had a superb view and it was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding! The hotel is situated on the north side but it is only a ten minute walk across town to get to the south side of Scarborough. We would recommend the Miricia Hotel to all who are looking for somewhere to stay when visiting Scarborough

From the moment we walked in the door this hotel was fabulous. We were meet by plush carpet & furniture through out the hotel. The gentleman on reception was friendly, professional and really knowledgeable of the area, places to see & go. We were al made to feel welcome. Our rooms were amazing, spacious, clean comfortable. Very welcoming, we had booked a small room with sea view but were upgraded to a large room. Everying was spot on with two comfortable chairs in a large bay window allowing us to sit and take in an absolutely superb panoramic view of the South Bay and headland. The bed was extremely comfortable, the breakfast superb with an excellent choice and the staff very friendly. I really am struggling to find anything to to complain about, however trivial! Would thoroughly recommend.

All staff made us very welcome Brilliant room and fantastic location. The only downside was we thought it was a dog free hotel. Maybe this was just in the bedrooms as we saw 3 large dogs at one table in the restaurant and another dog at the next table whilst we were waiting for food to be served. Our room was immaculate though and showed no signs of any pets having been in there. We were unable to use the shower as it just dripped out but as we were on a short stay we just used the bath...

We have just had a great 2 night stay here. The family room was huge, very clean and comfortable (the photos dont do it justice). Breakfast was perfect and we also had evening meals each night which were big portions. We found it a very friendly environment and enjoyed relaxing in the bar and playing pool. Great base for Whitby, Flamingo Land and Filey. We would definitely return.
