"The flat is clean and compact, located in a Mews. Very close to the Railway station - less than 10mins walk. Parking is free for initial 30min outside the gate - to unload. The Host provided permit for the weekend. The area also gives free parking, daily from 4:00pm until 10:00am the next day. It is also a 10minutes walk from the flat to the beautiful Town Centre of Bury St Edmunds "

"This property is well situated on the main thoroughfare of a diverse residential community with a lovely collection of shops, cafes, ethnic restaurants, exquisite cheese shop, fine wine shop, and a pub. The apartment was immaculate on arrival, and our communication with the property manager was most helpful, including arranging for an early arrival. The car park five minutes away is convenient, and a walk of less than 20 minutes takes you into the heart of the university and all of the key sites...

"A well appointed flat in a wonderful position near to the city centre with secure parking. Generally well equipped but would benefit by a microwave and more oven utensils. Communication while at the premises was OK but had to ask to pay the balance (no opportunity to pay before money taken out of credit card, I did not wish to pay with this card. I also had to ask for the full address as leaving home before receiving it. Overall a very enjoyable stay."

"We had a lovely stay mostly. The owners were away until the last night so it was quiet and there was everything we needed. Mostly clean although some areas really needed some attention. Lovely bathroom and a very comfy bed in main bedroom. Really ought to be an apartment for 2 because whoever stays in the 2nd bedroom has to go through main bedroom to get to the bathroom. In present state it doesn’t really work for a 2nd bedroom though because as we found out on last night, when someone’s in the...

"Stayed for two nights at The Stratford Apartments. On the good side, it was spacious and had a good size shower. The beds and furniture were all comfortable. On the down side it smelt really quite damp and there were some amazing cobwebs in the bathroom. Great for short stays, location was excellent. It suited our needs but wouldn't like to stay longer. "

"a good stay. Perhaps some of the property could do with a more thorough clean as I ended up cleaning the whole cutlery drawer. Somewhere to hang washing would be beneficial as not every clothing item is suited for the washer dryer. Bathroom nice, but as others have commented, some amenities would be welcomed"

"They wouldn't give us access to the property and refused to refund our money! You have to pay them seperately for a deposit through a link they send you with your credit card - dicey and then it wouldn't take my US card so they wouldn't let us in after we paid for the whole stay on Expedia and refused to refund our stay when I cancelled on the spot. Nothing good to say, plus the area is a dump and the apt is located above a very dirty, grungy deli - not good!"

"Booked and paid for 3 nights at last minute because of a family emergency at Addenbrokes hospital. Could not contact host for check in instructions dispute numerous attempts by myself and hotels.com. Therefore never got access to property and now am being refused a refund. Host insists they emailed us which is totally untrue and just a reason to keep my money. How can they make me pay for something they know they did not provide. "
