We wanted to get away for the night before New Year's Eve so, after some research, booked one night's stay at The White Hart. We were not disappointed. After checking in we were shown to our room (in the adjacent building) and given an explanation of where things were etc. The room had a 4 poster bed, which was extremely comfortable, and an ensuite wet room with shower. The room was very clean, well appointed and comfortable.

The staff could not have done more, the food was amazing, the whole place was spotlessly clean, fridge in the room etc.
The shower was the only very minor thing that let it down. We prefer a hand held one to a rose from the top… personal choice.
We will certainly revisit when in the area. Great value… the pub/restaurant was LOVELY… a lot of thought has obviously gone into making it such a comfortable place to be. All the tables were spaced out well, with comfortable chairs…. The staffing levels...

Quirky old inn with good food reasonably priced - lovely atmosphere. We arrived late after last meal orders however staff on duty accommodated us by providing soup of the day which was much appreciated as we had not eaten since breakfast. The bed was very comfortable and we have a great nights sleep.

Stunning property, gorgeous & delightfully helpful owners ( Doug & Kay)& in a beautiful part of the country. Close to good restaurants, historical villages & towns. Just a perfect weekend retreat.

Really nice big room with Aircon which was invaluable.
Big rolltop bath in the open bathroom, but it was too hot to take advantage of it.
The breakfast was lovely as was dinner the previous evening.
The staff were welcoming and friendly and the place very quirky
My only complaint would be very little seating in the room except the bed.

Lovely little property in a quiet village. All to a high standard and quirky. Only small issue was how warm the room was at night as it had been an extremely hot day.

This is a great Hotel in this part of England. Very easy to enjoy the slow pace , great bar and good food. Quiet and within easy reach of main roads. Highly Reicommended.

With the warmest of greetings I was shown to my room. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. This is the first time I have slept all night in a hotel or B&B for many years. Breakfast was delicious and gave me a tremendous start to my day.
Thank you so very much.
