"Really enjoyable stay in a nice setting, pity about the weather. Fair warning there are some works going on on the property grounds making it a bit more unsightly but nothing can be done about that. Overall great. Thank you."

"As a family group of 10, we found the space to be just what was needed. The 4 children were able to have their own space separate from parents. Too little time prevented any significant hikes, but we enjoyed walks through town and along the Derwentwater shore."

"The property was tucked off the main street with parking outside. Inside was spotlessly clean with fresh linen and towels. There was a keybox outside and this was easy enough to use and obtain the key. The only things not provided was a tea towel to dry dishes before we left and onlyv2 tumblers and one wine glass. Msybe an inventory to replace items that have been damaged or broken. We were only there one night but Egremont has a few pubs, restuarants, takeaways and a fairly large co-op store...

"We really enjoyed our 5 day stay here. it was well appointed and so central to the town centre. There was very convenient parking allowed for one car in the church car park, very close to the property. The only slight drawback for us was finding that the mattress on the main bedroom was a bit too hard for us. Other than that, it was a lovely apartment."

"This property delivers on all it offers. Little touches such as liquid soap in bathroom & kitchen, tea towel, sponge, washing up liquid all available for us & very much appreciated. Tea , coffee, sugar also free to use. Everything in good working order & clean. Just round corner from main town so very accessible however a bit noisy from pubs but we sleep with ear plus anyway so never heard anything once in bed. Communication throughout was exemplary "

"Great apartment in brilliant central location. Spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Lots of steps up so maybe not accessible to everyone but that is shown on the pictures. Our only problem was the height of the front door handle as our 18month old could easily reach it and be out the door onto the steep steps if we hadn’t put the chain on . Overall well recommended"

"Overall great. Ray and Margaret showed us round the apartment and made sure we knew how everything worked. Very good information pack provided. Access to apartment is via an outside metal fire escape style staircase which was slippery when wet. Bedrooms and bathroom have sky lights only and to see the best view from lounge requires you to stand at the window due to the height. It would be a great addition if if there was decking or balcony to use from the patio doors in the lounge."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The accommodation had everything we needed and more. Was great to arrive and have milk in our fridge and tea and coffee ready to have a brew the minute we arrived. The place was spotless and spacious. Would recommend this place to stay when in keswick"

"Loved our stay. Our first family trip away with our 10 week old baby and even she loved it. We had everything we needed at our finger tips. The only slight downfall was the Wi-Fi connection. It was quite hard to connect to and very slow. Being in an area with poor reception for data, the Wi-Fi was definitely needed but we both struggled to get any use out of it. Amazing place though, would recommend. "

"First time visiting the lake district and it didnt disappoint. The area of the lodge was perfect to explore and visit different places nearby. The lodge itself was perfect , and had everything needed for a very comfortable stay. Will definitely like to stay again and will recommend to all friends and family this lodge."

"A working farm - grew to love it all. Facility was well furnished. Matthew is definitely a worker. As a former farm owner in Virginia we recognize the work involved and admired the product. The directions (Turn at —-) could be clearer. Thank you for sharing your home."
