The food was absolutely fantastic, tasty, having large quantities and having a varied menu. The staff in the restaurant, in the Reception and behind the Bar were polite, extremely efficient, friendly approachable, top class again. The Management should be congratulated and keep these high standards. We will return again as we have done so over the years,"

"This is such a special place, historic, scenic,homely,warm and welcoming. The garden suite was outstanding and the food quality excellent. The only thing I could possibly complain about was the Guiness as sad as that is. It frustrates me incredibly when I order a branded draught beverage and it comes in a different branded glass. The Guiness was poured in one go whereas the connoisseurs of the black beauty recognise and appreciate it’s a slow patient process leaving mid way to stand for a while. I did not like to inform the extremely pleasant and obliging Italian barman in the error of his ways. Apart from that minor misdemeanor we can’t wait until we return. "
