"Stayed for 4 nights in this gorgeous cottage. Traditional looking but with modern facilities. Well stocked kitchen with a large fridge. The village is quiet & peaceful just outside of Keswick. The real bonus is the private garden with comfy sofas. Parking is tight but we did have a wide car & it was nice to have it on the driveway. Good communication and able to self check in. "

"Really friendly welcome at check in, and the lady serving the breakfasts was very friendly and efficient. We ate at the pub in the evening and the food was good. Breakfast was also very good. Room was clean and comfortable, but very small for the price paid (I really missed having a bedside table on my side of the bed) and the ensuite was clean but in need of updating - nothing like the photos on the website! The pub was super quiet at night - no noise from drinkers or other residents etc. The pub itself was lovely - really nicely decorated with plenty of alternative seating (armchairs, tables, picnic benches outside, banquettes inside etc). All in all a good place to stay."
