"Family from Oregon and Kentucky came together for a week’s tour of northern New England. This location was the highlight of the trip. The house was roomy, cozy, and had wonderful views/access to the water. Our group spent a peaceful 3 nights here and wished we could have stayed longer."

"We had 14 people stay, 8 adults and 6 children. There was lots of room for the children to play and rooms to accommodate varied sleeping arrangements. The kitchen was well equipped but I always travel with my own knives and favorite cooking pot. We arrived to find snow on the ground which the kids loved. The next couple of days it all melted and we had gorgeous weather for the eclipse. I would definitely stay again if the family decides to revisit the area."

"This is a beautiful house in a idylic location. Our three couples had a comfortable, enjoyable stay - stunning sunsets, water access and nearby bike trails. We are giving five stars because of the property. We should take off points for the manager, but were so impressed with both the home and the location, it would not be fair the owners to present anything less than five stars. "We had so much fun staying at this cute a-frame. We were in town to ski, although it rained, we had a blast. The house is close to great restaurants and supermarket. The house was so clean and had everything we needed for us and the dogs. Hot coco for the kids, cute touch! Treats and poop bags for the dogs! We love to cook and the pots and pans were the best we have seen at a rented house! We really enjoyed the house and hope to be back!"

There were many little details that made the stay a pleasure, such as a well stocked kitchen and a fireplace that was ready to use. "Spent a long weekend with our immediate family of five (with three kids), as well as grandparents. The house has plenty of space to accommodate everyone. The host was extremely responsive to my inquiries and even made local suggestions! The described recent renovations described in the kitchen are absolutely great, though note that the renovations didn’t carry throughout the entire house including some of the bathrooms, but the pictures are reasonably accurate. We would definitely stay here...

"We came up for the eclipse and this house was perfect. The rear deck faces South so it got great sunlight (or lack of sun during totality haha) and the weather held up. Everything was communicated clearly and thoroughly via Evolve. No issues with getting to the property or checking in. Everything was clean and as described in the listing. Well appointed kitchen and great heated mud room to dry up snow and wetness."

"Beautiful house in a very nice location with very friendly hosts. We came up to move our daughter out of UVM dorm and then we used it as our jumping off point to Shelburn and, of course, downtown Burlington. We arrived on the later side and our host offered to drive me downtown to meet my wife so that we would not miss our dinner reservations. The space is very clean, the bed comfortable, and the views are amazing!"

"Comfortable and homey. The home was as described, kitchen had everything we forgot. The beds smelled like laundry detergent (in a good way) and were very comfortable. Nice stay. Fenced yard was great for the dogs, they did pick up several ticks though, so be on the look out for unsuspecting dog owners. Fantastic view from the hot tub."
