Fabulous stay, at a clean and comfortable hotel. Was a little in the pricey side, considering that I had to pay £10 for overnight parking. Additionally, I opted out of having breakfast, as that was over £12! In spite of those minor complaints, I found the hotel to be very comfortable and would consider returning.

A nice hotel in the centre of town. The staff were nice and accommodating, and breakfast was good too. There is a free car park nearby as the hotel only has a few spaces around the back.

Lovely stay as always for a family birthday meet up celebration. The pools and leisure centre are heavenly, especially when the sun comes out. Real holiday vibes in the outdoor pool area. Restaurant food and service exceptional. Only criticism this stay was that the rooms were far too hot at night, couldn't control the radiator heat!

Just the ease of driving up to the main entrance to check in and friendly staff making the process easy in the middle of the night.

We found this hotel to be far enough away from the town centre to not be bothered by any noise but close enough for a nice stroll and the sunset over the harbour was lovely. The owners have obviously spent a great deal of time and money on this once run down to turn it into a comfortable hotel with more improvements planned.

Very handy location close to where we needed to be in Chelmsford. Certainly more room that a budget hotel wih everything you need, including safe parking.

Omg what a lovely place to stay. Clean, well maintained , very comfortable a really home from home. Breakfast was excellent .I would definitely stay again. So friendly nothing was to much trouble. Looking forward to going back when I can . So thank you very much to our hosts . Very impressed. 👍

We arrived and we was greeted by lovely lady Debbie, the room, bed & shower all fabulous. Breakfast was beautifully cooked and lovely crest fruit, all you wanted. Having stayed at several places when we visit Southend, now we have found The Hamilton we would stay anywhere else. It's a real gem

Stayed here quite a few times and always happy there. Easy parking, friendly staff and clean fairly well equipped rooms. Easily on par with premier inn if not better.

We have stayed in this hotel lots of times over the last 3 years and it has always been comfortable .

Lovely room clean and very comfortable bed food was lovely staff very friendly and helpful had a great time we will be coming back soon.

Stayed here for 1 night for a near by family wedding. Nice hotel , not grand but clean comfortable and friendly. Reception very helpful, nothing was to much trouble. The staff were very polite helpful and everyone sported a smile. Would stay here again Very good value.
