Excellent scenic location next to the river. Amazing breakfast choices. Evening meals were always very good and sometimes exceptional. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would hope to return.

The hotel is in a lovely position , the food was good, staff helpful and the hotel was comfortable

Nice enough place, amd the staff were very friendly and helpful.

We booked the hotel for its proximity to Simmons Yat, a well known beauty spot. The hotel turned out to be just as attractive in its own way for our 7 day stay. The rooms were comfortable and adequately appointed. In the restaurant we found the menus to be wide ranging in choice and the quality of the food and presentation to be generally good. A few of the dishes, namely the Beef Stroganoff, Rump Steak and the Soup and Brie starters to be exemplary. The bar had a good selection of beers and...

The Anchor is a village pub with some rooms at the back. We were in "Lavers" which, I suspect, is the smallest room but perfectly fine for the two of us. The room itself was immaculate, clean with good quality fittings and views over open countryside. We only had a small shower room but again well appointed. Lovely stay. Nice rooms and food. Cosy bar and fireplace. Staff needed prompting for service throughout the meal though.

I stayed in a single room that was fantastically decorated, clean, warm and had everything you would need for a great price. with great parking. On arrival i received a very warm welcome from the manager, throughout my stay the staff were excellent polite, very accommodating and made every effort to ensure a good stay.thank you. With work i have stayed at many locations and this one rates very highly indeed. The food was very quick to arrive and of a high standard the menu was varied....

I had a very enjoyable stay at the NewCourt Inn. The owners are very welcoming and kind. Breakfast was excellent as was my evening meal. Free parking outside the hotel. I would happily stay here again.

Excellent pub with rooms, very clean, nicely decorated and really nice people. Best gammon we have had in years, will return.

A very pleasant stay Room was lovely

Really nice property in quiet location. Food was great

It was a lovely place to stay. Staff, rooms and food so nice would love to stay there again

We had a great one night stay at Berwick Lodge on a a Monday to celebrate a birthday. The sun shone and the Housemartins flew happily around whilst we sat on the terrace having a cocktail. The à la carte menu was fantastic - well worth the cost and breakfast was very tasty. Will definitely stay again in one of the other fantastic looking rooms.
