"We had quick check in and room ready before 3 pm. Room very warm and spacious. Saw a couple of cobwebs in corners on ceiling however. The tea and coffee facilities were good but the kettle didn''t switch off automatically and kettle lid didn' t stay on very well which was a hazzard. We were a little disappointed to find that our bed had not been made even though the cleaner had been in as teacups had been washed. This hadn't been an issue on a previous stay however."

"Great location. Good meal in the restaurant & good breakfast. Hotel is looking tired and ready for a refurb. Bar area a little small and furniture very worn. Room clean but bathroom a little small. We did enjoy our stay as great value for money."

"Gave a good impression on arrival, receptionist friendly and efficient. Room was good size, facilities good, comfortable bed for a good sleep. Bedroom needs some updating to give power/USB near bed."

"Great location for the shops and restaurants, room clean and tidy, didn’t have very much interaction with staff apart from checking in, very pleasant lady and gave us information about the hotel, the only thing that lets the hotel down is the the common areas and stairways are very tired and some areas the carpet is very worn, but this wouldn’t stop us staying in the future "
