"This hotel has an amazing garden and restaurant but the property itself is in need of some 'love'. Shower screen kept coming off the bath so bathroom flooded, lead flashing still hanging off over a year later. Clean apart from wear and tear. Such a shame because the location and the staff are good"

"This place is great. We had a lovely stay, the rooms were large and well decorated, spotlessly clean and breakfast was really delicious. The hosts really friendly, would definitely stay again and recommend it."

"An excellent freshly made hot and filling breakfast. The cafe area was a welcome rest stop with a wide choice. The staff were friendly and helpful. Easy access to the beach, railway station and town gave plenty to do."

"Decent room, wasn't over fussed about leaving my car in a public car park but it wasn't touched. Lovely staff, a tidy steak in the evening and breakfast was fine. Poached eggs on the breakfast menu would have been nice! I'd stay there again if I needed a room in the area."
