Fantastic overnight stay. Made to feel very welcome upon arrival by the owner who then took us to a great vantage point to take in the stunning views whilst giving us a brief bit of background history surrounding the building. We took our dog who was welcomed greatly. The staff on site were pleasant and polite and on hand to assist with anything we needed. Breakfast was great. Can't wait to return later on in the year.

A two night stay to attend niece's wedding, excellent location with a plentiful public car park opposite. Our room was clean and tidy, well appointed with quality fixtures and fittings. A very nice friendly welcome on arrival and throughout our stay. Quality of breakfast was first class and very tasty with a good range to suit all tastes. Would stay again and would highly recommend if you are looking to stay in the area. Village had good amenities.

Graham and Annie (our hosts) were able to offer us any check time after 09.00. We actually arrived about 16.00 to be checked in immediately and shown to our room. The first night was a bit of a problem as the room overlooked the main road with a farm entrance across the road. The building is very old with thick stone walls and we needed the window open which was noisy with traffic throughout the night. On speaking to Graham the following morning, he was most apologetic and changed our room to...

This Guest House is very welcoming. You are greeted with a big smile and settled in quickly and smoothly. If you have any issues, there is a can do approach to helping you out. There is a lovely homely lounge for visitors to share inclusive with fridge, games, tv, open fire, and for the adventurous, maps. When we arrived it was dark so we had no idea where we were, the lady in reception was very friendly and gave us a choice of two rooms, the rooms were clean and tidy, unfortunately the hotel only does breakfast but the lady pointed us in the right direction for food.
