"What a lovely stay, we stayed in the print room which was the perfect size, very homely and welcoming, overlooking the market square. Communication with The Dial House Team was via WhatsApp, they responded straight away and were always happy to help. The location is perfect being 30 minutes drive from some great sights. "First thing we saw on entering the room were several quite big green (ink?) stains on the carpet. A lovely big bed but only 2 small pillows, so had to ask for more. The room was very hot and although we found a fan it didn’t get below 26 degrees the 3 nights we were there, outside not over 22 degrees in the day! We went to the Restaurant our first night and waited 30 mins for a drink. The food was not good and loud party of golfers drove us to the bar. Not much better so took wine to our room. Ate in the room next 2 nights. I booked this hotel because I wanted a pool etc. the jacuzzi was broken and the steam room was also out of action, and with swimming lessons for about 20 kids relaxing it wasn’t!!! On our last night a member of staff, Matilda, hunted and found us another fan. She was the only one to really help. There are often functions (one every night we were there) which are very loud and go on until 1 a.m.!! So all in all not impressed and definitely not 4* for us."

"This is our 2nd stay in this hotel, and once again, it was perfect for us! There has been a change in management since we were last here, and the current manager & partner were busy decorating the rooms. They have a lot to do, but are clearly working hard on it. They are friendly and welcoming. The chef there is fantastic! He is gradually changing the menu, but all the food we had was superb! Very good cooked breakfast, and the evening meal we had was excellent- try the Tandoori Lamb Chops, they’re wonderful! Nothing is too much for these hosts, and we will definitely be returning for a 3rd year!"

"On arrival radiator in room not working and still not working when we left after 3 nights . Day 2 we had electric heater provided. Continental breakfast was poor no fruit juices or fresh or fruit cocktail ( or tinned. No bread or toast machine butter or preserves . Small boxes of cereals and unappealing croissants were there. Although this is our personal opinion other guests were saying the same to us. The general Manager was very nice and needs a medal trying to get things sorted . The kitchen is contracted to outside. Caterers who are not under her control. I politely but firmly Made my complaints . The bar service was good and was well stocked."

"We were visiting Sprowston for cricket and needed a hotel nearby. We didn’t want to stay too close to the airport. This hotel was ideal. There’s a good size car park. We arrived fairly late, but well before the 9pm cut off point. Reception was empty, but we found a lovely lady to check us in and after being shown to our room, we were able to choose food from the bar menu. The choice was fairly limited, but our lasagne was good. Our room was a large, clean and well appointed and the bed was huge and very comfortable. Breakfast was great: plenty of cereal choices, various options in the coffe machine and full English hot with quality ingredients."
