"I first visited the Druidstone 45 years ago and fell in love with everything about it; the friendly hosts, the homely decor and atmosphere, the perfect location and delicious food. I feel the same every time I visit including my most recent visit in August 2025, which included a fabulous Greek feast. "
"it was mostly quite parking was abit of a pain because you had to park on the next street up, would’ve liked to have been able to keep an eye on my car, had to share the kitchen But was mostly clean. Had food for breakfast in the kitchen which was nice. over all had a good stay would stay again thank you x"
"This is a superbly restored space and quite unique. It has a few quirks that one should know and are represented by the property managers. There are no meals available outside of breakfast. If one has large pieces of luggage navigating it to ones room could be more than challenging. I am a bit surprised that there is no accommodation made in terms of staffing to provide assistance with luggage."
"Great little place, rooms were done out really nice, staff were lovely, perfect little place to stay while we were visiting tenby, so many places just a short drive away also for families "
"Property has an old feel but it clean and well kept.
Our evening food was below average pub grub standard, beware the price of desserts.
We had been mistakenly checked in before our arrival so were told they had no record of our booking which caused unnecessary stress.
The studio rooms are a great benefit. Grounds are gorgeous. Pool is nice."
"It was cheap - you get what you pay for. Shared bathroom and kitchen, which was expected based on price and photos, but not clear in details and another guest hadn’t assumed this and caused a big scene on check in. Wasn’t dirty, but could have been cleaner. Beds were comfy, but sheets smelt damp. Air con didn’t work in our room or another room that was empty. Free parking. Walking distance of the town centre which has takeaways. Kinda average stage. But cheapest around"

The Lord Nelson Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Great location, smart decor.
Lovely room with Marina view, staff were all friendly and helpful.
Really nice bar/restaurant too.
Would definitely recommend & would stay there again when in the area."
"Lovely little apartment, very clean, comfy bed, good shower, out of the way but as we know the area it was no problem to find it, loved the little barrow to get your luggage up to the house, nice touch.
Only downside could do with a wee bit more storage, but not sure where -? under bed?, wifi was great for somewhere so off the beaten track, little church and graveyard next door was an interesting place to visit, would highly recommend for a short trip but would maybe look at bigger apartment if staying longer (for cooking facilities)"
"Just returned me from a two night stay at the Shepards hut. Perfect location, perfect views, perfect everything! It is tucked away at the top of the field where you have an incredible view of the sea and seating area with a fire pit to enjoy even more.
The hut itself is perfect in every way and was spotless! We would visit again and again and… again! "
Bangeston Barn with Log Burner, Garden, 2 mins from Surf Beaches
10/10 Excellent
"What a wonderfully clever barn conversion! A twenty minute walk to Angle West beach and a mile and a half walk to Freshwater West beach. Our dogs loved the walks, as well, and all the local beaches dog friendly.
The barn is well equipped for a family stay and if the weather does turn there are enough games and toys to keep the kids entertained for days, even the big ones! I loved finding the guitar and it was still in tune!
Thanks for being a great host, Paul.

"We arrived to no one around and after walking around the property finally saw an envelope with our name on it and our key. Our room smelt moldy and damp. The carpet was dirty and the walls were peeling. The beds were very uncomfortable. It was shocking to see after such a high rating. The yard was unkempt and there was a general air of neglect about the whole place. "

Pembroke Castle is the birthplace of the first Tudor king and has enough graceful majesty to more than match its place in history. The 11th century fort is packed full of surprises and won't fail to amaze first-time visitors to this gorgeous corner of Wales.
