"Excellent location in a quiet area close to the city center, excellent accommodation and service, excellent english breakfast. They welcomed us warmly and gave useful suggestions."
"Arrived around 6pm no staff at hotel so self checkin with a keybox, felt more like Airbnb than a hotel but cost same as much nicer fully staffed hotels we stayed other days. Place is run down and needs refurb"
"it was mostly quite parking was abit of a pain because you had to park on the next street up, would’ve liked to have been able to keep an eye on my car, had to share the kitchen But was mostly clean. Had food for breakfast in the kitchen which was nice. over all had a good stay would stay again thank you x"
"It was cheap - you get what you pay for. Shared bathroom and kitchen, which was expected based on price and photos, but not clear in details and another guest hadn’t assumed this and caused a big scene on check in. Wasn’t dirty, but could have been cleaner. Beds were comfy, but sheets smelt damp. Air con didn’t work in our room or another room that was empty. Free parking. Walking distance of the town centre which has takeaways. Kinda average stage. But cheapest around"

"Cosy & comfortable, with everything you need for a few days break. Very quiet, peaceful area, with great walks from the doorstep. Lovely to sit at the table in the front overlooking the beach. The only downside is that I think parking could be tricky if all the cottages are occupied. Also it would have been useful to know which colour front door was mine as it wasn't clear from the photos."
"The setting and view from the cottage were great. Dale, the location is a quiet village with couple of nice pubs that served great food. Unfortunately they were shut for the first two days of our stay. The cottage had great potential but was marred with irritating defects. The kitchen area whilst usable lacked storage space for provisions. The ice box of the fridge freezer was solid with ice. No attempt to defrost had been made. The kitchen lacked pot brushes and scrubbers that normally would be provided. The nearest shop to purchase these items was a 40 minute round trip on the quiet country roads. The front door of the property felt insecure and had to be lifted or slammed to close it. There was no table near the settees where you could place a cup of coffee. One of the chairs by the bay window needed fixing or replacing. The beds were comfortable and clean.Sadly, the people managing this property are letting it down."
"Lovely little apartment, very clean, comfy bed, good shower, out of the way but as we know the area it was no problem to find it, loved the little barrow to get your luggage up to the house, nice touch.
Only downside could do with a wee bit more storage, but not sure where -? under bed?, wifi was great for somewhere so off the beaten track, little church and graveyard next door was an interesting place to visit, would highly recommend for a short trip but would maybe look at bigger apartment if staying longer (for cooking facilities)"
"Just returned me from a two night stay at the Shepards hut. Perfect location, perfect views, perfect everything! It is tucked away at the top of the field where you have an incredible view of the sea and seating area with a fire pit to enjoy even more.
The hut itself is perfect in every way and was spotless! We would visit again and again and… again! "
