The local town of Narberth is very quaint with plenty of places to eat and unique shopping. Tenby is close by and we used it as a base for a visit to Skomer Island. It seems there are load of local attractions although we only stayed for a few days so didn't get a chance to appraise these. We stayed in a 'cwtchy' room and were expecting it maybe to be a little cramped, but it wasn't at all; it was perfect for us. It was very clean and tastefully decorated, as was the whole complex, and the outside terrace was a lovely, peaceful area to enjoy a relaxing drink in the evening. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and served us a delicious breakfast in the morning. We booked 2 rooms for 3 nights but we haven’t been given rooms close to each other and we have been asked to pay extra £100 to get closer room. Breakfast time is very short 08:30 to 09:30 in my opinion just to save money and not paying for a chef. We have asked for ice cubes for our drinks but our request has been rejected. Emma and her staff are really welcoming and helpful; the breakfasts are plentiful and gorgeous; and the room we had was exactly what we hoped for. The nearby town of Narbeath is close enough to get to for evening meals and the three places we ate at were really good.
