"Nice location with a pretty garden . We were visiting during the recent long heatwave , we asked if we could have a fan as it was very hot in the loft area where you sleep , told clearly No !! I would suggest there should a fan in the property to make it more pleasant. We visited other places that had fans which made it a much more comfortable"

"Situated in a quiet rural environment we had an enjoyable stay, visiting several National Trust properties. Also went to the coast and Battle Abbey, the site of the Battle of Hastings. The pub in the nearby village of Chiddingly is highly recommended."

"If you love a peaceful country retreat then this is for you. Wildlife all around. The owner could not be more helpful. Peacocks at the back door herds of dear and flocks of amazing rheas much better than advertised. You do need a car with good clearance for the track through the forest but it's worth it as it all ads to the amazing adventure. Thank you once again to our host Martin who meets guests at the gate to lead you through the forest."

"Lovely little home 3 minutes from the beach. Everything you need in the home with a lovely welcome box of treats for us & the dogs. Beds very comfy in the 2 bedrooms. Lovely hot shower. Plenty of shops minutes away for everything you need. A very lovely stay & total value for money for 7 nights. Totally recommend."
