I've stayed at Ramada many times on work trips to Oxford. I advise choosing a room on the upper floor because on the ground floor you may hear stomping around late at night in the room overhead. There are also humming machines in a courtyard outside the ground floor windows - maybe that's the air heating system. In the room itself there's everything you need: clean shower room, white towels, free wifi, bedside lights, plug sockets, kettle with cups and tea bags etc. The bad reviews seem to...

Extremely disappointed with this hotel. The heating system was not working properly, our room was cold the entire time we stayed there. We were given a fanheater for our room but it was not really ideal given the low temperatures we had during the weekend. I had a treatment booked at the spa, again staff were using a fanheater to warm the room as it was really cold. I expected a variety of food items for breakfast but this wasn't the case, the breakfast range was very limited-no fresh fruits...

Lovely hotel. Good sized room and a fantastic breakfast. We also used the leisure facilities and they were very nice. Would stay again 😊

We really enjoyed our stay at the lion. Location to Bicester was perfect. Room was exactly what we booked . Dinner was excellent … that burger was first class & the crumble was awesome. Class venue .

Really nice accommodation. Clean, comfortable, and handy location. Numerous buses go to centre of Oxford and 13 min walk to eateries n shops in Headington. Several nice pubs. Staff at Conifers lovely and go that extra mile to help. Sorted out a taxi for us when we needed one urgently and got them to prioritise us. They were great. They also do breakfast. Just back from a few days staying at the De Vere, Sandford on Thames. Excellent hotel, comfy deluxe double, delicious breakfast with great choice of food. Helpful staff on reception suggested taking the bus, from just outside the hotel, in to Oxford. 15 mins and we were in the heart of the city. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Lovely hotel in a quiet location but loads of things to do nearby from Oxford to Bicester Village and the Cotswolds. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The quality of the food was the standout with great menu, quality and presentation. Would highly recommend

Nice hotel and had a lovely meal in restaurant. It was a bit noisy due to private party but that’s our issue due to going to sleep early! Good breakfast too.

We had a wonderful experience at the Lambert Arms. When we checked in we were met by happy and helpful staff and they even upgraded us to a courtyard view. The staff recommended the restaurant for an evening meal but we weren't sure. We decided to try out the restaurant that night and boy was that the best decision we ever made! The food was sensational....... my wife's chicken burger was "the best I've ever had", my duck was delicious and the desserts were incredible. I recommend the sticky...

Amazing little hotel in a back street, very clean and comfortable, we arrived early to drop our bags of as we had a tour later but our room was already available so they let us use the room straight away. Hardly any noise from other guests although there was a busy pub opposite the noise was minimal. Staff very polite, 20 minute walk to Oxford City Centre. Would highly recommend and would stay here again.

We had a lovely one-night stay at House 41 while visiting Aylesbury Theatre. The room was spotless, warm and welcoming, making it a lovely place to relax after our evening out. Helen, the owner, was absolutely lovely and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was freshly cooked, delicious and the perfect start to the day.
