Apologies that current circumstances have caused me to delay my response. We were the lucky recipients of guests lodging with us for local weddings. Your stay was brief but we look forward to seeing you again. The room you chose has lovely views in all seasons. When you return perhaps you can relax on your porch and take time to enjoy the gardens and the bird songs...and we hope to tempt you to have a leisurely dinner here at the inn.

What fun we had trying to find the perfect “wrap” for your lovely dress...and we succeeded! No problem that it wasn’t needed as we would not have wanted you to be concerned about having your evening spoiled. As I told you, many guests arrive as a stranger and leave as a friend. You skipped a beat...we seem to have forged a friendship as soon as you arrived! Hope to see you soon again, and good luck with some tough decisions ahead! 😍

Next time we need to speak with you regarding dinner, then you won’t have to find your way to and from a restaurant and we’ll have more time to chat!

How has the summer flown by!?! When you departed it was for a sad, perhaps difficult, occasion. I meant to touch base to see how everything went. “Mea culpa”, time has flown, but I have often thought of you and the evening you spent here at The Waterford Inne. So happy to know that you noted the meal as special...I enjoyed being able to keep you company that beautiful evening on the porch. We seemed to have so many topics to share...hope to see you again as we seemed to only have scratched the conversational surface.

Probably the best part of my job is interacting with my guests. But this time the conversation made the time spent at the breakfast even more special. We spoke of many subjects but the time went all too quickly...I still think we have several unfinished discussions...to be continued? I do hope so.
