Top Washbourne Hotel Reviews

The Headland Hotel & Spa

The Headland Hotel & Spa

8/10 Good
"Had a wonderful stay, hotel location great, staff very friendly and helpful, room clean, a good size and well equipped. These things can't be helped but the part of the spa was out of action (would have been good to know before hand) but it did not significantly disrupt our stay. Our room was not sea facing so there was some noise from delivery vehicles (essential supplies needed) in the mornings. Would stay again."

The Trecarn Hotel

The Trecarn Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"Very pleasantly surprised by the Trecarn Hotel. We enjoyed our stay so much that we decided to book an extra night. Our experience certainly didn’t reflect many of the ratings and reviews we had read. The location is amazing, our room was clean and exactly as advertised, and it had a modern TV. The hotel was quite hot for some reason, but fans were provided, which helped. The staff were lovely especially the chambermaids, who were incredibly friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend staying here. We’ve paid twice the price elsewhere and not had as good an experience."

"We were there as a couple over a bank holiday weekend. The hotel is clean with a warm friendly welcome. The receptionist was informative and ensured we were aware of the parking charge (£15 per day). Found this alot considering we were staying at the hotel. Bar staff friendly and made us aware of their opening times. They weren't however able to answer a question about room service although reception did. Our room was clean and welcoming with everything you needed including bathrobes. Breakfast was great, nice choice of items. Fruit was limited and slices were thinly cut but very fresh, so no complaints. We would have liked some sort of entertainment on an evening even if its just a singer in the background. We would highly recommend this hotel for a break away"

The Imperial Torquay

10/10 Excellent
"Had room 321 . This is a very large room of 30 metres + on the top floor, with floor to ceiling sliding patio doors, giving onto 6/7 metres of private balcony with absolutely stunning sea views of the marina and the whole of Torbay. You can't get better. Breakfast serves by uniformed stsff in a huge elegant long dining room with similar sea views, the whole place reminiscent of grand old hotels of days gone by. Proper white tablecloths. Indoor pool. Not even that expensive. A short walk to the Marina. The Imperial. Book it!"

"Staff were very friendly & helpful, room was clean and it was quiet despite being quite full. One daily our room wasn't serviced but staff brought fresh supplies quickly. The wet room is a bit too wet as the water overspills the drain but it was a good shower. Breakfast is unspectacular but decent. The bed was comfortable but pillows far too soft. Having great big windows we expected a great view but the windows were dirty and one window unit was misted, which was a shame. Overall it is very good value and I would stay again, though disappointed that dogs are allowed."
