Thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights here. Breakfasts lovely [ my favourite is the scrambled egg with smoked salmon ] Suppers also delicious. Good menu selection with Sea Bass & Rump Steak being my choices ( on 2 different occasions - - I should add.! ). Dog friendly - which is important if you want to have your pooches with you which we did. Allocated a downstairs room which is delightful with excellent shower & loo facilities. Would we want to stay here again. You bet !! PRB

Lovely hotel and fantastic staff. Would definitely return

Great staff, friendly and attentive. Amazing food, real ale, extensive wine list. Reminiscent of how hotels used to be before corporate takeovers

Spotlessly clean room, nicely decorated and really great en-suite. Evening food excellent with really friendly hotel team. Only slight down side (for us) was Sunday breakfast didn't start until 8am. Travelled down to attend my brothers wedding .staff were friendly and helpful. Was pleasantly surprised at size of room and en suit.the reseption was also held in the Inn and have never attended such a beautiful entertaining reception and the buffet and barbacue couldnt be faulted

Lovely people. Very friendly. It’s not the Ritz but you do get what you pay for, and as such, it’s excellent. We had a lovely time.

Lovely place, lovely setting. Convenient for a Plymouth but quiet and picturesque, fantastic walks along the Yealm. And a great pub.

Very spacious and complete room, nice Inn for a drink. Parking available.

Great place to stay right in the heart of Totnes. Our room was lovely and bright with big windows. Good food available downstairs and helpful, friendly service from the landlord Jake and his staff.

Will look to come back -

Lovely stay, friendly and helpful staff.

Fantastic location overlooking the hilltop sea views. Last minute overnight booking, with only the rear looking room available (would like to try the sea view rooms next time). Room was immaculately clean with a fan, iron (and board), hairdryer, microwave, toaster, fridge and kettle (also tea, coffee and milk, that you can have refilled if you need more). Staff were absolutely fantastic from the time we checked in to when we left. Bar and food area downstairs (also plenty of outdoor seating). I...
