"Close to town centre and easy parking"
Easy walk into Stratford on Avon but the room was a hike from reception. Nice large room when we got there, basic bathroom amenities, i.e. no body lotion but shampoo and bath gel. Comfortable extra large bed.

Hotel sits on a very nice piece of property, off the main road but very quiet. East walks into town for theater, meal and shopping.

"very good "
We had good booking in service - allowed us to book in early as the room was ready. Staff very pleasant and polite. We stayed in the old part of the hotel with its quirky rooms and old beams. We loved it. The restaurant was very good. Making use of the old part of the hotel for the bars and restaurant is really good. Parking was easy - the hotel have a carpark at the back of it and an entrance directly into the reception area. You pay £5 for 24 hours if you are a resident

"Upper level Guest house"
We had an great stay. The guest house is very nice and clean. When you first come into the house, you realize that you are in a very fine establishment. The room was not huge, but it had more than enough space for the two of us. The bathroom was probably the best part of it. It was really big compared to the room, had two sinks and a wonderful shower in which you could turn on a light which kept changing colour. The breakfast was nice and the cooked option very good, although there could have been more continental options. If I'm coming back to Stratford Upon Avon I will definitely stay here again.

"Lovely get away from it all"
Beautiful hotel in quintessentially British grounds, formal gardens and a regal feel! The spa was a real plus too and an amazing mix architecturally of 2000's meets Downton!! The spa hospitality could be improved upon but adequate but the facilities were perfect, as were the lounges we fell asleep on poolside. We had a standard executive room which felt more like a suite, it was perfect for our 'get away from it all' girlie break. Breakfast was overlooking the formal gardens and was one of the best hotel breakfasts I have had and the service was excellent.

Pocket Guide: Romantic Hotels in Warwickshire

Warwickshire, with its grand country mansions, striking medieval landmarks and picture-perfect historic towns and villages, is just the ticket for couples looking for an unforgettable romantic getaway.

Stay In a Romantic Hotel near Warwick Castle

This majestic Norman castle became an exclusive mansion by the 17th Century, and has many fascinating exhibitions illustrating the town's profound medieval heritage and the Norman influence on England. Warwick is also home to picturesque St. Nicholas' Park, the Mill Garden and Hill Close Gardens, and is also noted for its striking 11th century Collegiate Church of St. Mary. All of these make a wonderfully picturesque backdrop for a getaway with someone special. The town also has plenty of restaurants and historic inns, and a great range of romantic hotels that are perfect for romantic escapes.

Shakespeare – The Bard’s Greatest Love Story

On April 26th 1564, a child who would grow to become the most influential and celebrated figure in English literature was born at a half-timbered house in Stratford-upon-Avon. William Shakespeare brought us that most romantic of ‘doomed love’ stories – Romeo and Juliet, as well as plenty of other boy-meets-girl tales. If you're looking for romantic hotels where you can create your own love story, you could book a stay at the exquisite Macdonald Alveston Manor Hotel or the elegant Tudor-style Falcon Hotel.

Visit One of Britain's Prettiest Regency Towns

Royal Leamington Spa is acclaimed for its attractive Regency architecture and handsome high street. A prestigious retreat for many wealthy Londoners following the opening of the railways in the Victorian era, it's home to the historic Royal Pump Rooms, which was the most popular spa bath, and is now the location of the town's museum and art gallery. Like Warwick, it also has plenty of romantic hotels and stylish restaurants and cafés for couples who want to relax, or even treat themselves to a little spa pampering!

    Romantic Stately Homes

Warwickshire is renowned for Charlecote Park, a 16th century country mansion, and Ragley Hall, an equally impressive Palladian house. The county also features the deluxe Mercure Warwickshire Walton Hall & Spa, a four star retreat offering a luxury spa and refined, spacious accommodation overlooking attractive landscaped grounds – perfect for that romantic evening stroll.
