"We loved the gardens especially and the walk down to the abbey ruins. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. The restaurant was nice too and the staff are friendly locals."

"The Duke of Edinburgh hotel was a gem. I don’t know the history of the building but it’s older; that doesn't mean bad. They have done a great job of renovating the rooms, or at least ours was. It was one of the best rooms we’ve had on our trip. We also had dinner and a breakfast while there and the food at the restaurant/pub was excellent. It’s a short walk from the train station and I would recommend it for your stay."
