Every thing was perfect, loved my stay

just returned from a one night stay at the arthington hotel we probably stay in blackpool 2-3 nights a year and stay at different hotel as we usually find them just ok. We stayed in this lovely guest house for two nights as we were attending a family funeral. We arrived at about 3pm on the first day and were greeted by a lovely lady who explained where everything was and showed us to our room. We had a king room which was absolutely huge, with a massive, very comfortable bed, a large and comfy sofa, a large bathroom with an excellent shower and a really big TV on a rotating wall bracket (to make it watchable from anywhere in the room). Amazing experience. Fantastic staff and customer service, very friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. Cream tea was freshly prepared and scones still warm. Room was amazing with a beautiful lake view. Homemade shortbread in the room was a lovely touch. Breakfast was also amazing, lovely fry-up with good quality ingredients. Brilliant experience all round, we will definitely be staying again.

The property exceeded my expectation. It's really cozy and I absolutely enjoyed the bowl of goodies. Could do with more utensils, but overall, I'd highly recommend.

Apartment was well equipped and clean . There was a little mix up for entry when we arrived but sorted quickly and they couldnt have been more helpful and apologetic . Would definately stay again

Hotel public areas well laid out with nice comfortable seating, check in was prompt and easy. Room was well laid out, lovely spacious bathroom with a good sized walk in shower. Comfortable L shape sofa and a large tv and you can plug in your firestick if you want to watch your favourite tv shows. Quick check-in, family room had two bedrooms, one king and two single size beds. Flatscreen in both rooms and plenty of tea/coffee supplies. Lots of hangers and storage and very nice bathroom with shower bath. Good selection at breakfast and very nice

Second visit to Thurnham Hall and it was not a let down. The greeting when you arrive is second to none. The hall itself is beautiful and the studio room was perfect for the two of us. If you are looking for a busy adventurous holiday this is probably not the hotel for you but it is well located for exploring Lancaster and Cumbria. Cordelia was pleasant, helpful, friendly and nothing wad too much trouble. She was the perfect hostess. The location is perfect, the rooms were comfortable and clean. We will definitely be returning in October.
