My wife and I stayed over on a Saturday night, with me going to watch the football and my wife going shopping. We then met at 6pm and had a terrific evening in Liverpool. We arrived early morning on the Saturday and were happily allowed to leave the car in the hotel car park. The host Mr Tacy is a newlywed, young, polite, and he kindly guided us through our stay with care, interest and genuine goodwill. The famous "Ferry Across The Mersey" dock is just 100 metres from the hotel, and a bus...

Straightforward check in, Very nice room with functional layout. I liked the room because it was very quiet and the bed was comfortable.
The TV is slightly ‘too’ smart and seems to feel the need to switch itself on in the middle of the night. This could do with sorting out.

Excellent standard of hotel. Really liked the room, dinner, breakfast, atmosphere. The only minor negatives were the amount of listed TV channels which didn't work, no radio stations and our AC didn't seem to function although we didn't mention it to staff. Thoroughly recommend.

This was my second visit to Liverpool and the first time using a hotel, I was drawn in by the outside look of the hotel then when I saw the rooms and then how good the price was I was sold.
When I got there it was clear the area was quite close to anything I'd need and less than 10 minutes from central station which was perfect. Upon entering the Beautifully decorated lobby I was given key cards by the lovely clerks at the front desk, key cards which you need to enter the hotel itself and use...

I had just finished running a marathon. The staff upgraded us due to this! We had the most beautiful room!! We arrived to a lovely note congratulating me and some personalised chocolates! A great personal touch! The room and bathroom were clean, and the free amenities were great and of high quality. The bathrobes were a great addition and perfect for relaxing in! The building itself is old but beautifully restored and keeps all the old characteristics as well as being finished to high spec! The...

Easy to park at nearby John Lewis Q park. Handy for shopping at Liverpool one and 30 min walk to Hill Dickinson stadium!
We had a room with a double bed and single bed which was ideal for our family of 3 watching Everton match.

A few other sites and attractions to discover include Warren Golf Club, North Wirral Coastal Park and Championship Adventure Golf.
Is it worth paying more for a room with a balcony in Wallasey?
There are various reasons why staying in a room with a balcony is a great idea. Enjoy the views of Wallasey and have breakfast outside without having to leave your room.
