My husband and I stayed in the comfort quadruple room with our two young boys aged 6 and 8 to explore Diggerland and Rochester a few minutes away. It’s worth being aware that this is a very old house with its own character, creaky floorboards and all! Good pub across the road for food. "I stayed in the Love & Peace cottage. I initially was only staying a few days, but resulted in staying 3 weeks due to my father's health. Pat, the owner, was so welcoming and then so accommodating with the uncertainty of my length of stay. Going through a rollercoaster of emotions, Pat always made sure I was ok. "We booked this room in advance, an hour before we turned up to the property we still had no codes send to access the apartment. We made our way to the apartment and waited for an hour no response we tried calling the number for 2 hours no response. Guys a proper knob "

We had a few minor issues that were sorted with the owner without much fuss - including replacing the toaster entirely as the old one gave up on us!
