"Great hotel. Close to the river and traims to town"
The hotel is so nice . Great staff allways happy and helpfull .food and rooms are lovely . Best place to stay near the river and trams to town .but you can walk there to town. The hotel is in such a lovely place of prague been there twice and would stay there again
This hotel is convenient to downtown Prague, although out of town. It hass a great buffet breakfast with all imaginable foods, and a pleasant view outside the dining room. Rooms are large, clean and well supplied with great amenities. For example the cedar infused body wash and soaps are excellent. There is a currency changing ATM in the lobby which is extremely convenient.
Even though the hotel is not located next to the tourist sites, it' just a a few minutes walk to the metro station and 2 stops to the Museum. The hotel is much better decorated and furnished than those Holiday Inns in the US. Food is good and reasonably priced. Room is spacious and clean. Very friendly staff.
We had a very comfortable room and the staff were very helpful. One staff member was able to help me find a lipstick for one of my friends that bought when she was in Prague! She offered to get it for me.
fantastic hotel, who's excellent/friendly staff jumps on every request. large clean rooms. we tend to stay in the neighborhood and jump a train or cab to get to the main area. this place is close to train on a beautiful walk along the river without putting up with the noise
Made this trip to look for a musical instrument (which I found, thankfully, in the 11th hour). All I needed was somewhere affordable, basic and conveniently located. I got all three at Beta Pension. I had my own room (tho with 4 bunks total). Free wifi, clean bathroom and shower on the same floor. The tram lets off virtually right in front of the building. There's a friendly bar in the same building on the ground floor. Czech beer is cheaper than water, and probably better for you too. (Warning to whiny non-smokers: it is like a pub should be and allows patrons to light up). Back at the hostel, there's a continental breakfast every morning in the basement from 8 til 10 in the morning (which I did not avail myself to till my last day). All told, a very positive experience; it's not the Waldorf, but I was very happy with the price I paid and what I received in turn.
Convenient metro from main train station to Vysehrad (save $$ avoid taxi). Friendly staff, includes bfast and Internet and air conditioning. Metro runsuntil after midnight so you can see all the sites. We spent 2 nights - could have added one more. Handy corner store right on the block,
The apartment is perfectly located to visit Vysehrad Castle, with it's great walks and views. It is an easy walk from public transport, which we used to visit the Old Town. Although the hotel has an elevator, several flights of stairs were still necessary. One of Prague's best restaurants is just down the street.

Considered the first settlement of Prague, legend has it that Vysehrad was the seat of the first Czech rulers. On a rocky hill by the city centre, the Vysehrad Castle ruins dominate the area. The fortress offers stunning views and deep casemates, and it is home to the striking St. Martin's Rotunda, the Church of Saints Peter and Paul, and the national cemetery, all guarded by the ancient gates.
