came to Prague for honeymoon and birthday and hotel was absolutely perfect. Set in beautiful surroundings and close to all places of interest. The staff made us feel very special and the room was decorated with rose petals and a birthday cake was left for me with a message from the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The food was lovely at breakfast which set us up well for the day.
Nice hotel near the tram station that connects all the city. We spent there 5 night in a double room and we was satisfied for the money that we payed. The area was quite 20 min walk to the centre of the city. The breakfast was okay and the staff friendly.

We recently spent an enjoyable weekend in this beautiful city, only enhanced by a good covering of snow on Friday and Saturday. Our first experience of the hotel was not great - I had specifically booked an Antique room, with king-size bed and views over Petrin Park but we were allocated a standard 'twin' room, with 3 single beds, no view and no antique style furniture. However, the receptionist was very apologetic and helpful and we were quickly moved to the correct room, which was everything it said on the tin. Perfect place to relax after a long day and night exploring the sights and restaurants. Good breakfast buffet too which was constantly replenished.
"Great people - walking distance to most everything"
The best things about The Golden Wheel were the truly lovely staff members, and the location. We walked all over the old part of the city, saw too many beautiful sites to mention, and had numerous good restaurants to choose from right in the area. The room itself was bigger than any other that we had in Europe, and it was very clean. Downsides were that the bed was pretty hard, and the pillows were just awful. I would have expected better bedding at a four-star rated hotel. All in all, though, we really loved our stay in Prague.
Castle is literally out back. Short walk to Charles bridge with lots of restaurants and shops along the way. As a group travelling we had 5 rooms in total 101 & 102 proved a real help. We closed outer door and the little one ran around very safe. In evening we sat in one room and kids slept In another. Ajoining door does not open but closing the main hallway door was even better.

Our room was great, a big room, little kitchenette. It had a great location - great walking distance to the Charles Bridge and all tourist locations (and good restaurants around). The breakfast on the other hand was quite terrible. The bread was stale, the coffee burnt and the boiled eggs were really old (over cooked and blackened inside the egg).
Great hotel stayed with family of five for three days in residence in highest level with extra room in a roof loft
The stay was great with breakfast served outside our room was good.
Would recommend family's to stay in this room.

Prague’s “Little Quarter” on the hillside below the castle hasn’t changed much since the 18th century. Endowed with parks and gardens as well as historic buildings, it is one of the city’s most delightful areas, overlooking the Old Town across the Charles Bridge.
