"A really lovely welcome and a lovely stay. Room was clean and had all the facilities you’d need for a comfortable stay. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. It was a little busy in the restaurant due to a wedding and a large birthday happening at the same time but once we got some attention we were looked after. Breakfast was nice but would have appreciated some alternative milks on the buffet due to my dairy allergy. "

The room was above reception and was incredibly noisy. Also, the room lacked services considering the price per night. Limited drinks available, and had to ask for bathrobes. "

"Beautiful period pub in a very nice setting. Clean, well cared for with a lot of period/nice touches to decor. Lovely large room with a shower and a separate bath. Very good made to order breakfast. Staff - pleasant, helpful and engaged. The only negative was no food after 8pm - which is when we arrived - and no other options in the locale. So arrive early if you want to eat there."

This was an extremely busy Saturday night pub where I sat at the bar with my dog also sat on a stool. When door security come over and make a fuss of your dog and go and get some treats, it was just brilliant. A really lovely stay. I won't make the mistake of asking for a full English for breakfast in a Welsh pub again!!! "

"This was a great place to stay for two nights when visiting Cardiff to watch the rugby with family. We had two apartments; they were brilliantly located, extremely functional and clean - which is exactly what we needed them to be.
