Great hotel for those thinking of staying in Canterbury. Only 15 minutes walk to the city centre. Room was quiet, staff were very good. Ate in on all three evenings, and had some really nice food, even a carvery on one evening. Breakfast choices were also excellent.

Staff were fantastic - very friendly and helpful. Everyone was very diligent with regard to Covid-10.
We found Eva to be particularly helpful and friendly.
Would very much recommend hotel, staff and locality.

A fantastic stay and a brilliant evening had in the bar, they even had Elvis in the building! The food was great, the room very comfortable with a lovely bed and the welcome was very warm. Could not fault this place at all. Perfect for a overnight stay.

Staff were wonderful as was the room and the food available in the restaurant.
Only disadvantage was the lack of car parking but that still wouldn’t put us off returning.

Great stay - convenient location just a short walk from the high st and attached to a fabulous restaurant. We stayed on the top floor - great room but a bit tricky for anyone who is less mobile or quite tall. Really great friendly service from the staff from start to finish.

The B&B is located a few minutes from Canterbury East train station and is also close to the centre of town.
The room was well-furnished with fresh water in a jug (with lemon!), kettle, TV and a hairdryer. All the nice touches added up!
The host, Terry, was very warm and a good conversationalist. He gave me a map when I arrived and explained how to get into town to start exploring.
There were also good options for breakfast.
10/10 - would stay again!

Can’t fault our stay. Warm welcome at check in, very quick and easy to find our accommodation. Suite was bright, thoughtfully decorated and very very clean. All the information we needed about the hotel and services was either communicated directly or left in the room for us to read. Complimentary hot drinks, warm room and comfortable bed. Nicely equipped bathroom and a hairdryer which was really appreciated.
Breakfast was really good and so quick. Never received a full English breakfast as...

We know the area well and we're staying at the Marine Hotel for a wedding. We had the superior room but sadly it rained so did not really use our balcony. The room was warm, clean and the staff all very friendly. Everyone was very helpful and made you feel very welcome. We will definetely book again. They also have 2 dog-friendly rooms which is great news for our 4-legged companion.

We interacted with many staff and all were always utterly and consistently professional and lovely.
The building is wonderfully historical in architecture and construction. The modern elements are subtle and executed perfectly for example some choice carpeting. The rooms feel the most contemporary but very comfortably neutral in style. The heavily sloping low ceiling and creaky floor boards keep you in the past.
