Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and modern hotel, lovely room, wonderful breakfast, amazing value. Would definitely stay again.

Hotel was nice and big, well it’s was far from the city, which cost us a lot of money for taxi, around €45 to the hotel, but the hotel provided a shuttle to take us to the city and bring us back and took us to the airport when leaving Venice, the hotel room bathroom toilet was blocked, called them and they fixed that, the only issue I had was the first day I was in the hotel, someone opened the door, didn’t know how, she apologized, the next morning , while sleeping same thing happened , before I...

Contacted hotel and emailed request for Shuttle bus to pick us up at the airport (6 euros pp) they emailed all the necessary info to me regarding meeting point at airport. Check in great, went straight to our rooms. Was able to purchase travel passes at hotel (40 euros for 3 days pp on all modes of transport, we maxed then out and went over to several islands on the vaporetto) and they provided timetable information. Buffet breakfast (4 euro pp) plenty of choice, staff worked hard at busy...

Great location, staff were very friendly and helpful, Rooftop terrace bar is brilliant with a great view of the grand canal and rialto bridge.

Arrived at the hotel and was able to check in slightly earlier as our room was ready - the hotel is about 2 minute walk over the road to the local train station which goes straight into the centre of Venice (St Lucia) it was only €1.25pp each way but to get the bus into St Lucia was €3 each way so we got the train when we could. We didn't really explore around mestre as we only stayed for 3 nights so wanted to make the most of seeing Venice itself but the hotel was situated near some shops and...

Amazing hotel! This place really deserves 5 stars! The staff is on point with their service, super friendly and helpful. The location is great as well, 5 min walk to San Marco plaza and 10 min walk to Rialto bridge. It’s also 2 min walk to Sta Maria del Giglio which is the stop that will take you to/from the airport at a cost of 15€ (one way) rather than spending a fortune in a taxi. The room is very spacious and clean with that Venice old style. The breakfast is great with a lot of variety and...

Had a really lovely stay at this hotel - we were wanting to visit Venice, so stayed here and got the train in every day from Venice Mestre Station. The hotel couldn’t be closer to the station if it tried - fantastic location in that sense. The actual hotel is very clean and modern. Lovely sized clean rooms with fridge, safe and fab shower. We didn’t explore Mestre much, where the hotel is actually located, but it’s great if you’re looking to travel into Venice for the day. Trains are also every...

Everything about the hotel was fantastic. The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful, assisting me with everything we needed. Our room was spacious, warm, and very cozy, beds were so comfortable, making it a pleasure to relax in. The restaurant staff did a wonderful job looking after us at breakfast each morning, and we enjoyed a top-class Christmas evening dinner where both the food and service were outstanding. The spa facilities were also excellent — a lovely, compact space that...

What a great find. We stayed here because we needed to be near Santa Lucia station and the hotel is very close to the Train station. Hotel was great. Location amazing. Our bedroom window overlooked the grand Canal with a fabulous balcony, really couldn’t of asked for anything better. Breakfast was good. Staff were also very nice. For the price we paid we think we had an absolute bargain! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend for the price we paid.

Location is excellent. Just across the Venezia-Mestre train station and bus stop. Very accessible to go to Venezia and other parts of Italy like Verona, Padova, Milan, etc if you're planning on a day trip to those places. Breakfast was lovely. There were many variety to choose from. Staffs at the breakfast area were really nice, friendly, and attentive to the guests. Lorie, especially, she was really nice. Always smiling and helpful even though she might be tired. She's always happy to see you...

Best overall position, easy access to the train station or coach park, modern building and decor. Wouldn’t recommend anywhere else.

We chose this hotel specifically for it's reviews and parking as we drove. Local bus service straight to Venice. Hotel was superb and would recommend it to anyone who was wanting to visit Venice using a car.

This hotel is in an excellent location right across the street from a main transport hub for Venice. The last stop for all buses and ground transport and a main hub for all water transport. The hotel was newly-opened only a month before our stay so everything was as you would expect, brand new and in excellent condition. The operation however did not seem brand new and operated seamlessly. Every staff member we encountered was very friendly and incredibly competent and helpful. The bar area...

I have stayed at this hotel several times and always find it to be excellent. Not chichi like a lot of places in Venice can be but very well run by good staff. Love the location in quieter Cannaregio. Good breakfast too. Recommended.

All the staff go above and beyond at this hotel to help you, nothing is a problem

It took me a lot of research to find a good hotel in Venice before I came across Papadopoli Venezia. It had a lot of good reviews and compared to the other hotels, it was very reasonably priced. After staying there 3 days and 2 nights I can say it's a hidden gem! The hotel is a very decent location - walking distance from a major bus/coach stand, and very close to a water bus station. It's a nice 45 minute walk to San Marco, or 20 minutes by water bus which is a very reasonable distance. The...

Having just spent five days in Venice - this hotel is situated on the heart of the Grand Canal. The staff were fantastic, the location was superb and the hotel was excellent

Fantastic hotel, if you want to stay in close proximity but also away from hustle and bustle of Venice then it’s fantastic. Grandest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Well organised shuttle bus to Venice and fantastic breakfast
