"It was perfect for what we needed, nice and close to town, a large room and lovely ensuite bathroom and comfortable beds. The owners were great and allowed us access to the room early as we needed to get to an appointment. All round great."

"Really relaxed vibe and Jack was a great host. The ‘help yourself’ breakfast was a great idea and the little things like, have a bottle of water out of the fridge, went a long way. Room was clean, light and airy. Had everything you could possibly want eg posh coffee maker etc, bottles of water/fizzy drink. Jack made some lovely recommendations for places to see/eat/visit and we can highly recommend The Plough Inn and Jorvine too! Will return for another visit!"

"First I was sent a text with check in instructions for the wrong room so nearly walked in on another family. Then there was a party in the room directly beside ours that were up until 4am yelling, laughing, banging around etc. both inside and outside the property. There was no staff on site at any point in time to deal with these messes so we had to handle by phone or text."
