Superb property in Church Fenton. Perfectly situated for trips to York, Leeds and other places in Yorkshire. The property itself was high quality and thoughtfully appointed. Will definitely be back to stay, highly recommended.

Great place and host, would highly recommend

Booked this Milford hotel for me and my husband as was attending Leeds festival, the hotel staff were very accommodating on arrival, I had contacted the hotel in advance about early checkin and as soon as we arrived our room was ready (at 12) Even when we returned from the festival the man who was on the night desk had bags for our wellington boots. The bar food in the water mill restaurant was very tasty too, Standard prices for a hotel - smoked salmon baguette with salad and crisps £6....

Got an amazing deal, then an upgrade when I arrived; looking forward to staying there again...

Such lovely friendly staff. It was a short stopover for us but we were so impressed by how lovely and friendly all the staff were whilst remaining totally professional. It was service with a smile in every encounter. Lovely hotel we found by accident but will remember for the future. The public areas are smart and spacious and our room was comfortable and well considered. Stayed with my husband for our Wedding Anniversary and it was amazing. The Hotel knew this and left us a lovely note and some chocolates in our room for when we arrived, what a lovely surprise. We went to the Spa for a swim and sauna, we almost fell asleep on the beds we were so relaxed.

Everything marvelous except parking a slight problem.

I love the design of the Indigo hotels and this one is no different. Staff very friendly. Location good with lots of bars, restaurants and independent shops nearby. (The Spanish restaurant across the road is really friendly as we popped in for a glass of fizz. ) would definitely recommend it

A near perfect stay at Delta hotels. The food, staff and pool were perfect. The only minus was the room’s bathroom which desperately needs an upgrade. Otherwise a great hotel next to the racecourse with a beautiful walk down the river into York. Would definitely come back.

Firstly, wonderful warm and welcoming staff. Great location with easy parking and an immaculate and comfortable room. Breakfast was lovely too. Highly recommended.

I was completely unprepared for the Grange , when I booked only as a bed for the night. It is an impressive Georgian edifice rendered friendly and comfortable by furnishings and smiles. The owners are like aunty and uncle who can't do enough for you, without intruding. Amazing value. Highly recommended.

only stayed one night, friendly attentive staff, 15 minute walk to the centre for the shopping, restaurant and bar areas. We will certainly be booking again soon but next time for a 3 day break

Nice room, really clean, big TV and great shower. Bed was a bit low, but otherwise room was excellent. Breakfast was good if a bit chaotic at times and the service was generally good & friendly (with the notable exception of one young waitress at breakfast, who has a poor attitude). Great location to explore York. Would happily stay here again.
