"Excellent location, nicely decorated, clean room. Self check-in was straight forward and fast. Friendly, helpful staff. The only thing we didn't care for was the communal coffee/tea station. As we walked by once, there was an unsavoury looking cup of coffee sitting on the worktop and turned us off of using the machine. The restaurant/bar was fabulous! The food was delicious and great value for money. We will definitely stay again."

"Receptionist refused to hand over key cards to my 2 daughters even after i checked in online. Made the stay negative from the 1st minute they stepped into the hotel. When they say they treat everyone as an adult over the age of 15 is a lie. A 17 and 19 year old was not allowed to check in until I sent my photo ID in an email. Follow up messages to my daughters were about quality of sleep. Very poor due to substandard pillows."

"The breakfast cost me £12, the coffee barely tasted like coffee, the 'fresh' orange juice was diluting juice, diluted to the point that you could barely taste the orange cordial, the toast machine was turned off, while staff stood about at 7:30am chatting I had to locate the plug and switch it on, the bread was sat in their original bread bags, again, the coffee tasted so bad, I left it and went for a Costa before I drove to my next destination, never worth £12 in your life. Parking decent, but cost me £10 per day. Staff ok, they all just looked pissed off, as if they didn't want to be there, my one exception was the girl who was making up the rooms on my second floor, very polite and was working as fast/hard as she could. Would I return to this hotel - no. It's tired, dated and needs a fresh look, a new attitude and someone to run the kitchen like they give a sh*t. "

"Great quiet but central location. Fabby having fridge in our roon and lovely wide windows giving lots of natural light and airiness to the room. Great hope powerful showers and comfy beds."

"Nice large room with comfortable beds. The room was very noisy due to an event close by that ended at 11pm. We found bread crumbs and an old chip on the floor. The floor left bits on our feet. For the price it should have been quiet and clean. The room cost £261 with £20 for parking. No breakfast included. Not good value for money. When I booked it also said 8 minute walk to AO Arena but you actually have to get a tram which takes 13 minutes."

"My check in was extremely smooth, Front desk Merina made it very easy, and I felt very welcome. Also check out was easy, receptionist made it smooth. This is the 2nd time to stay at this hotel, will go back again. Breakfast was good. "
