Very clean and tidy… perfect place for a base to visit York.. Short distance walk into the centre. Parking onsite which is great and a bargain, £8 for 24 hours at the property .. we got robbed at £18 from 10 till 2:30 in the shambles storey car park .. 😳😂
Would definitely stop here again. 😁

This could be quite a cosy hotel in the winter. However, my room was totally unsuitable for a summertime stay during yet another heatwave. There was a fan. No AC. Poor ventilation, the windows would only open a few inches. Top floor, it may have been soaking up heat. It was far too warm, I managed only 2 hours of sleep. Thank god they left a big bottle of water in the room.
Shower was very tight; bathroom was too small. Breakfast was very good.

A great one night experience! Very original and nicely located hotel. Check in was great thanks to their magic! The room we were in was extremely hot with 3-4 fans at max power so noisy. One night at this hotel was perfect.
