Stayed a few times and host (Tony) is fantastic- great breakfast. Sadly won’t be staying again as being taken over by a shambles of a company who have made Tony redundant - SHAMBLES!

We stayed one night as a stopover on our way home to Scotland. We had a superior double room in the lodge part of the hotel. Stunning room. Very spacious even with what looked like a super king bed. Lovely to have the little terrace space. Had a delicious meal in the restaurant and excellent breakfast in the morning. Loved the different options to normal offerings with overnight oats and yoghurt smoothies. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. Lovely dog friendly hotel which we’d love to...

Ashley was the best host. Very professional. We would definitely recommend Ashley and his lovely assistant Lisa, very accommodating and nothing too much trouble. We shall be staying there again. The breakfast is to die for, locally sourced and delicious. You could not ask for more it was all provided and presented with love. Everything about this hotel was 5*, the staff, the location and attention to detail. Go on give it a go, you will not regret it. Thanks Ashley, Lisa and not forgetting...

Super staff, very good location and parking facilities, clean a quiet, nice restaurant and the separate pub, and a very good value for the price I paid.
I really can’t think of anything I did not like.
I would go back for sure.
More of the same please.

Absolute gem of a place to stay. Gorgeous room with everything you need & so peaceful. The food was really good both for dinner & breakfast. We visited Fountains Abbey which was only 2 miles away. And we could do parkrun with plenty of time to get back before checkout & eat breakfast. Would love to return.

It's a nice pub that is part of the Thwaites chain. Menu doesn't cater well for Vegetarians and not at all for Vegans. Disappointing to see them burning coal on the fire in July, really thoughtless.

We had a lovely welcome on our arrival last Friday. We were very impressed by our room (3) which had a very high standard of decoration. Our room (superior double) had a lovely king- sized bed as well as a very comfortable large sofa. The ensuite bathroom was well thought out with thick towels and a vanity unit with a fantastic mirror. The owners have done everything they can to make your stay as comfortable as possible. There are towelling robes, hairdryer ,ironing board as well as tea and...

Spotlessly clean and well appointed/decorated with a fabulous view (on 8th floor). Reception staff were lovely and check in was quick. Please note this is a card only hotel.
