"Pros: A compact clean upper room. Comfortable bed. Coffee/espresso and tea makers. Good sized bathroom. Close access to pub/ restaurant. Easy parking. Cons: Low sloped ceiling caused lots of head bumping incidents. The nice shower was unusable due to I defective water temperature control. Water temperature too hot. Despite the roomy bathroom, the sink was really small with a fixed faucet jutting out over the bowl....

"The rooms are on the small side and so are the bathrooms but the bed was very comfortable and had some nice touches. Tea and coffee and biscuits. The menu wasn’t great but what we had was quite good. "

"Stayed at Winstanley House for a wedding. Rooms we’re spacious which made getting ready easy, our bathroom was also massive, with a separate shower & bath. Beds are huge & very comfy.The grounds are beautiful, a perfect setting for a summer wedding. Would definitely stay again."
