Excellent hotel, very good value for money. Staff are very welcoming and helpful. Rooms and faciltiies were excellent, very clean. Very good food and a friendly atmosphere.

Very nice traditional hotel, has a lot of character. The rooms are a tad dated but fit the atmosphere of the building. Really comfy beds and we had memory foam pillows on a big bed. It is also a restaurant but we didn't eat here, but it smells very nice. Would very much stay here again for the price

Great place close to where I needed to be

The cottage has a open plan, it had a large stunning wood burning stove ,with wood mantelpiece and bricks, Kitchen with a island table with plenty cupboards space , with pots and pans , Dishes glasses, oven, microwave, hob coffee maker ,toaster and a kettle, Kings size bed ,two bedrooms both with ensuite bathroom, dining area They have thought of everything, from cleaning materials to towels hoover and floor mop , place is impeccable very clean , welcome basket with wine and biscuits. From the moment of our arrival we where made to feel very much at home. All rooms are exquisitely furnished and extremely comfortable. The main sitting room has beautiful views over Rutland waters. I believe we most probably had the best meal we ever had in England. The chef deserves at least three Michelin stars. Dominique chose some excellent wines for us, he certainly knows his job. Lovely Hotel, very central but at the quiet end of the main street. Room and Breakfast were superb.

Good B&B, easy to find and good meal (pre-booked) in their restaurant. Good continental breakfast. Highly recommended.

Was in Leicester for my daughter’s graduation, the bed was very comfortable, my wife snored happily all night. The breakfast was great, it set us up for the day. If I need to stay in Leicester again, I’ll be staying here.

The staff were very welcoming when we arrived, breakfast was marvellous , there own eggs , homemade granola and local ingredients. Nothing was too much trouble , very quaint and lots of original features . Would love to stay again

Second wonderful stay at the Crown - Fantastic room with rolltop bath, separate shower, lovely big comfortable bed and plenty of space. Very welcoming and friendly staff but beware the stairs! Right in the centre of this beautiful old market town with numerous independent shops, restaurants and pubs, so we'll definitely be back...

It was mine and a friend's first night out as new mum's, requested a nice shower. We got a nice shower and more, the room was lovely, huge TV, comfy beds and great air con. Free drink upon check in and the breakfast was great. Lovely seating area and lots of choice for food. Had a lovely time.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay. Highly recommended. We will definitely be back.🙂
