"Great way station when we travel. Convenient and quiet location, great staff, dog friendly, great hot water, comfortable beds, good sized rooms, very good breakfast, and excellent coffee."

"Property is beautiful, well maintained. It is also a wedding venue. We were there during the week just before wedding season started. Owner present and very friendly and helpful with all needs. We ere there for 2 breakfasts which were both good but would have been happier if they werent both syrup types. If one was egg based Like quiche it would have been nice. Place convenient to small town, quaint. Room was small but attached to porch which was delightful. Would definitely recommend."

"The room was clean; the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was well thought out and maintained by a friendly hostess. The suite setting was quite helpful for our four night stay. We took advantage of the kitchen setup that included a full size refrigerator, pans, dishes and utensils. The only drawback was some light maintenance that was needed in the bathroom of our suite."

"Pros: clean, large room (king), large bathroom. Food and service was wonderful at the pub! Cons: no maid service for a 4 night stay. You want fresh towels? Hunt down the cleaning cart on your floor between the hours of 9am and 2pm. I requested the front desk to leave housekeeping a note for clean towels and conditioner that was empty when we checked in, as we were not going to be at the hotel between 9am and 2pm. Towels were graciously left in a bag outside of the room door. Hassle of having to go through security and having to get my purse checked just to grab something from the express café every single time. One elevator as the other had an out of order sign, but NO elevator when leaving the facility at 5:30am resulting in dragging our belongings down 3 flights of stairs. Hotel is not bad, but not real accommodating to guests."

"Place was well kept and everything advertised. A welcome note was left with thoughtfully left matches and fire starter with a fire pit readied with wood for lighting.Stay was nice and peaceful at the far end of the pond. Saw and heard many loons and an owl near camp."

"The lack of adequate parking at this facility is a joke. Extremely limited in the front, with the alternative out back of the hotel a whole floor lower than the check in area. Poor design. In addition, I booked through hotels.com and when I checked out the clerk said because I didn’t book direct with the hotel he could not generate a receipt. Not true. I’ve booked many hotels through hotels.com and always get a receipt. Also, I asked if he could at least tell me the amount of my bill and he said he didn’t have that either. Really? For a guest that was checking out? Poor customer service."

"Key card would not work several time locking us out during the entire stay. Nobody would pick up the phone at the front desk. Had to personally go find somebody at midnight. Reprogrammed three different sets of keys and none of them worked. Bathroom had mold also. Will be contacting a manager about a refund. Will never stay here again."
