Fairlight Lodge

10/10 Excellent
"For a small establishment offering bed and breakfast, this was superb. The staff went beyond expectations in their welcome and in offering advice about local walks. The property is ten minutes walk from town centre. Off road parking was useful. The satisfying breakfast is served at a specific time slot and this allows the team to cook the main course fresh for each guest. The room, although like most singles was quite small, contained everything necessary for my stay. The shower room was modern and clean, I chose this place based on existing reviews and I'm glad that I did."

"Fantastic amenities and room. We enjoyed ourselves and used the pub too. Only thing next time, would have a ground floor as lots of stairs and heavy suitcases, but would return as great holiday stay! Staff helpful and lean room too!"

A truly lovely country cottage set in the heart of historic Norfolk.

A truly lovely country cottage set in the heart of historic Norfolk.

8/10 Good
"We had a lovely autumn break. We had such a lovely greeting to the cottage. Our cocker spaniel loved her toy and treats and bowls ready for her dinner. The flowers on the kitchen table and chocolate and biscuits. It was wonderful. Owner came and asked if everything ok. The cottage well equipped with everything we needed. It was cute and cosy. The low door ways and some ceilings took some getting used to. We both banged our heads but then remembered so didn’t do it again. To sum up it was warm, quirky, cosy and perfect. Even sat in the garden one or two days. We hopefully be back."
